Wheel Quilt Pattern

Wheel Quilt was inspired by many of the lovely color wheel or scrap wheel quilts I've seen. But unlike the others, my large wheel pattern sews up with streamlined curved piecing, not applique, and is made from templates that can print on standard paper. Included are directions for making a 40" square single wheel quilt (shown here) or an 80” square large quilt with a 4-wheel setting.

This fresh, simple pattern is perfect for showcasing modern fabrics, and is suitable for a beginner to intermediate quilter who is interested in sewing curves. There are only 8 curved seams total to be sewn in the single wheel design. Wheel Quilt stitches up quite quickly! Directions for making the wheel wedges from scrap or from yardage are included. Wheel Quilt requires experience in rotary cutting and basic curved seam sewing. If you can sew a drunkard's path block, sewing this quilt will be easy peasy.

This user-friendly quilt pattern provides step by step directions with over 30 helpful photographs. Beyond making your quilt top, this pattern also includes directions for finishing your quilt.
