My Ikat Quilt was inspired by nesting diamond ikat fabrics and a favorite rug. The seemingly intricate design is created with large, 19.5" finished blocks that meet at the edges to create secondary patterns. Despite appearances, it is a straightforward sew! No partial seams, y-seams or anything like that. Pattern includes directions to create a throw, twin, queen or king sized quilt.

The Ikat Quilt is suitable for confident beginners or intermediate quilters. It can be sewn with traditional piecing techniques or with machine paper piecing. Paper piecing guarantees perfect right angles! This pattern assumes you are familiar with basic machine paper piecing techniques.

This user-friendly quilt pattern provides step by step directions with over 30 helpful photographs. Beyond making your quilt top, this pattern also includes directions for finishing your quilt.
